General Ordering Questions

  • Do I need a prescription?

  • A VALID U.S. PRESCRIPTION IS REQURED to place an order on the DestinationRx website. We do not write any prescriptions, nor do we refer you to consulting physicians for prescriptions. You must have either an existing prescription (for refill orders) or a new prescription from your doctor.

  • Which pharmacies are shown?

  • DestinationRx has partnered with a number of online, mail-order, and retail pharmacies to bring you the pricing displayed. We strive to provide consumers with as much choice as possible. We are always looking for new pharmacies to add to our network so that we can negotiate the best drug prices possible.

  • Why couldn't I find a particular drug?

  • While DestinationRx attempts to compare prices for every drug that is available, you may find that we do not list a particular drug you are looking for. This may be because the drug is brand new, is no longer available, or simply not being sold by the pharmacies we are listing.

  • How do I submit my prescription information if I order from an online or mail-order pharmacy?

  • If you are ordering from an online or mail-order pharmacy you must contact the pharmacy directly by clicking on the link to the pharmacy or clicking on the Order button.

  • What should I do when it's time for a refill?

  • When it's time for a refill, follow the same prescription order process you used to place your original order.

  • How can I get more information about the medication I have been prescribed?

  • You can ask the doctor who prescribed your medication or visit a variety of online drug information resources. When ordering from an online or mail-order pharmacy you can also direct questions to the telephone pharmacists or customer service professionals. If you choose a retail pharmacy you can ask the pharmacist when you pick up your medication.
