I never did pick up two prescriptions my Doc called into my Pharmacy for me. The  main reason was the outrageous cost of nearly $300.00 for these two statin medications.   Yesterday, my favorite penny pincher Clark Howard posted on his website, a way to price meds, before you hand a pharmacy your prescription and faint, when they ask for the money.

I went to DestinationRx registered and searched for the best prices for my meds.  LO and BEHOLD, one of those presciptions was $100.00 cheaper at two other nearby Pharmacies.  A $100.00, not $10.00 or $20.00 cheaper, which I could rationally accept.   That Pharmacy is on my GOODBYE list of places to NEVER fill a prescription again.   I am considering contacting this Pharmacy's Headquarters to voice my opinion, concern, and shock at their pricing rip off.

What come to mind is Buyer Beware and Buyer Be Smart too.  Check out DestinationRx,  before you fill your next "script" and you may save a lot of your hard earned $$$$.
